Description

Diamond Brite Varnish Stain is the obvious choice when it comes to changing the color on interior bare or previously stained wood. But why change the color of your finished wood? Whether it is to stain a furniture item according to your décor or simply to change the color, this product is excellent on floors and any wood trim. Diamond Brite Varnish Stain is the choice for your next project. Diamond Brite provides six pre-mixed colors for varnish stain, offering you variety while also making your decision that much easier.

From the Manufacturer:

This product is recommended for interior use ONLY. For best results on previously stained surfaces, it is recommended to strip the old wood and then apply a fresh coat of varnish stain product to the newly installed wood. WARNING, it is important to note that if the user chooses not to strip the current finish and use the varnish stain over the previously stained surface, then the result will vary depending upon what color it overlaps. The wood graining in the wood will show through when completed.

If the user chooses NOT to strip the previously stained surface, then it is recommended to first sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper, remove any leftover dust that is leftover with a tack rag, wash with clear-cold water, and allow the surface to properly dry. Finally, apply a coat of Diamond Brite Varnish Stain product.

Note: This line of product is NOT made to be sprayed. For best results, use an excellent-quality brush or roller. This product will average 300 square feet of coverage per gallon, and it takes up to 6-8 hours to recoat. For the product to dry as expected, the minimum air temperature needs to be 60 degrees or greater.
